I didn’t expect an anime that was like 90% helping rape victims and taking them seriously when no one else will. Aesthetically I really liked how the story is like a Dungeons and Dragons game, complete with the classes and the stereotypes. I like all of the main cast and the character designs make me nostalgic for old school D&D. The pacing was good, I liked the battle choreography, the overall gruesomeness of the situation perfectly juxtaposed with moments of levity. The way shock on the characters faces were animated.

My reaction was “This is just another overhyped Shonen that will have to die-hard fanboys and then the Hardcore haters who hate it because it’s a “threat” to their own shows they love. I was wrong…or maybe I just became one of the fanboys. The first episode had my attention immediately. This show doesn’t take 15 episodes to get to the point like most shows these days so by episode 1 you get the tone and the feel of it. Don’t want to spoil it but take my word it’s not your typical Shonen. By episode 2 I was intrigued and by 3 I was hooked. The OST is amazing and fits the theme, location, and timeline and the animation is simply beautiful. It’s done by Ufotable so if you’ve seen their work you know they do some good stuff.

To be fair, Nussbaum does mention Buffy and Joss Whedon frequently in her essay, obviously crediting both the show and the creator for much of the best that the decade had to offer, but she seems to imply that TV as art was a work in progress as the decade began and it most definitely was not. Although many realize just how revolutionary Buffy was as a series and the impact that it made on the medium (many TV creators cite it as their favorite show while others acknowledge its direct influence), not everyone is aware of how groundbreaking the series was or of the number.

That, by definition, would be the rawest, undiluted Slayer album. You all are saying Reign in Blood, and I respect that choice. It’s the classic metal album choice. It sold well, and it kicked off the reign of Rick Ruben, who brought out their greatness in the form of success. Hell Awaits remains my favorite album. Really due to the reverb across the whole thing, sets the thematic tone in such a ballsy way. Best Lyrics? I would say they had it all dialed in for Divine Intervention. That would be the most technically perfect Slayer album. 100% of that album, from the slashed arm disc art to dittohead at 220bpm, the fastest track, is pure Slayer.

When the door finally opens slowly. Saw some person standing there like nothing. Couldn’t figure out what the hell it was. The fog was blurring my vision to see. After gaining my vision to see. Besides, the film has just released last month, the studio will take a while to come up with Goblin Slayer Season 2. Due to the recent coronavirus outbreak has also caused a delay in the project. Fans have to wait for a while for an official announcement for the renewal of the anime. Anime also often take time to return and several anime have returned after years. Another reason for the Return of Goblin Slayer is the amount of source material left. As the manga and LN series is also still in run, there is more than enough content left to make at least two more installments.

A character who cries every minute and shamelessly begs others for help despite being a demon slayer. I get the comedy, but it’s so played out and abused that it lost its purpose. I’ll also mention the battle in the forest (the demon that killed Sabito and that girl) was kinda good. `But not mind-blowing. Episode 2 impressed me more but that was the shock value. I didn’t expect Nezuko to kick that demons head CLEAN OFF out the blue like that. Demon Slayer looks a lot better than it is because it feels like more effort is put into the animation than the mechanics underneath it (plot, story, direction, etc). And making Nezuko as cute as possible.
