Here’s where it gets really bad as if it wasn’t bad enough already. I don’t see a judge for 8 days. Yep, you read that right I’m 8 days in jail not having any idea why not seeing an attorney and having no access to call anyone. I finally see a judge on the 8th day and he tells me it’s an out-of-state warrant and again he doesn’t know what it’s for and I have a choice I can fight extradition or I can concede to extradition. I arrived for my shift and 1st annual area 51 5k Fun Run Sept 20 2019 They can’t stop all shirt. However, I had told my manager and boss this and it had been written down and they had got someone else to cover my shift before I left. So the time comes for me to leave so I tell the person covering me what has been done and needs to be done etc. And then I leave. Basically, I got paid for 2 weeks instead of 3. So I waited all week for my boss to phone me which he didn’t do so I phoned him. He said he had no idea what I was on about and that I just have thought this up. Now, why would I do that? Anyway, I went to a lawyer about my missing pay and asked why I was let go. I then told them I had a recording of what my boss said to me when I went to pick up my pay and I sued for unlawful termination, lack of correct pay and for lying to me. Our solution was to contact a social worker who told us she would visit my mother and father to assess the situation. When she called us with her report she agreed that they were in no condition to remain alone in that home. She had contacted a nearby assisted living facility and there was an opening. My father would stay in one room where he would receive skilled nursing care and my mom would be in another room in the independent living section. At first, my mom was opposed to the idea but there wasn’t a better solution. In spite of her insistence, she and my dad could manage we knew that it was impossible.
