I was on the verge of Harry Potter english teacher because Hogwarts letter never came shirt of her seemingly continuous requests for time off. Many times it was a phone call or email stating she couldn’t come in and had to take three days off because of a sick pet, or relatives suddenly coming in, or weird car issues. When she would come in she would be apologetic and shy. She did good work when she was at work, but she was just absent so much. I called her into my office to explain why I had to let her go. She broke down crying and telling me that I didn’t understand. She was so insistent that if I did understand I wouldn’t fire her but didn’t want to go any further in her explanation. I figured there was something odd and wrong here but wasn’t sure what to do. So I suggested that we have lunch together a little later in the day.
