I guess you could assume one reason I joined the I came I saw I had anxiety so I left shirt in the first place was that I had no other direction.  I joke about how I came to join the Marines because when I went t lo the recruiter’s office I had intended to join the Air Force but the recruiter had an ‘Out to Lunch’ sign on the door. I had no clue what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.  18years old, no scholarship, no money, no motivation.  My parents tried to talk me out of joining the military but no one was offering an alternative so. When it came time to get out of the military I still had no direction. Just a kid. And gay on top of it.  I had no desire to stay in the military.
